Mike in Rome in Pictures

I'm just going to write a brief post on my brother's visit to Rome. This is going to be a lot like the Update in Picture posts except it will be centered on Mike's time in the eternal city. A post written exclusively on our trip to Prague will follow shortly...

Mike arrived here last Thursday in the morning. He came into Termini train station where I met him. This is his first glimpse of me. I had my camera out and ready and he saw me the last second before I could take the picture. He looks pretty good for being fresh off the plane, huh?

Once we reunited, we collected ourselves in my apartment and cooked up a huge breakfast. But after that, we were on a mission to find our dear cousin. We met at Trevi fountain (no offense to Rosina, but she picks the worst places to meet) and from then on, Rosina showed Mike around for the rest of the day.

This is the classic "I like it" pose in front of the fountain. It was such a good expression, Willie decided to duplicate it during his trip.

Because of my scholastic obligations, Mike had to explore on his own at times. He never really told me what he did, but judging by the pictures, I don't think he was missing me too much.

This picture is my way of saying that we walked a lot, even in tough conditions. I got to see a couple places I never seen during Mike's visit. There aren't many better travel buddies than my brother.

Thanks for the jacket Mom!

Ciao!
Matt
